On September 12th, 1952, the small town of Flatwoods West Virginia was changed forever. This date would mark the first sighting of what is now known as the Flatwoods Monster. On this night, seven witnesses would encounter a large glowing monster that was described as having a blood-red face, a spade shaped helmet, and being "worse than Frankenstein".
